Sam Yost Florida Registered Paralegal
With more than 19 years in the legal industry, Samatha "Sam" Yost joined Moody Law as a litigation paralegal whose primary focus is on personal injury and medical malpractice. She assists in all phases of litigation, from inception through discovery and trial.
Sam earned her Associates of Paralegal Studies Degree from Central Georgia Technical College in 2007 and previously attended Middle Georgia State University studying in nursing and criminal justice. In 2021, she become a Florida Registered Paralegal through the Supreme Court of Florida.
Sam is an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and enjoys photography, vacationing, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Sam is a native of Naples, Florida, but lived in Georgia for over 15 years. Sam and her husband, Brian, relocated back to Florida in 2014, after the birth of their daughter.
While in Georgia, Sam was the sole paralegal in a small firm, to multiple attorneys. While most of her litigation experience has been in personal injury and insurance defense, she also has substantial experience in civil trial litigation, wills and estate, family law and criminal law. Her numerous years of experience includes management of all aspects of complex litigation in which her responsibilities included: case management and file organization; drafting correspondence, discovery and pleadings; assisting in mediations and arbitrations; researching and investigations; pre-trial and trial preparation along with Court room experience where she assisted in jury selection and handling of exhibits.
Sam prides herself as a dedicated professional committed to excellence in client services. Since joining the firm, Sam uses her legal experience in resolving personal injury and medical malpractice cases for clients in their time of distress and pain.
