48 year old Darrel Tolliver of Clearwater was admitted to Sun Coast Hospital in Largo with chest pains. Even though he was connected to a heart monitor, he somehow walked out of the hospital still wearing the heart monitor and was struck in the roadway while smoking a cigarrette. The heart monitor was still in the road after the crash.
