A small, single engine airplane and a kit-built plane collided in the air over Williston, Florida.  Williston, Florida is located over northern Central Florida and is near the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.  The mid-air collision killed three people in clear and sunny skies.  A witness, Williston resident, stated that she someone had shot a gun but instead found the kit-built aircraft upside down in a pasture near her home.  Emergency responders arrived and found the second plane in flames in dense woods.  The crash is still under investigation.
