Steel Object Crashes Through Windshield

A south Florida motorist was injured by a small steel wheel that likely fell off another vehicle while driving on the Florida Turnpike.  The steel wheel likely fell off a larger vehicle such as a trailer or a garbage truck.  56-year-old John Stanzione, of Boynton Beach, Florida, suffered injuries to his eyes and arms by broken glass as the steel wheel crashed through his windshield.  Stanzione was taken to a south Florida hospital for medical treatment.
