Crossing Guard Hit by Pickup Truck Dies By Moody Law | Personal Injury Attorneys on November 25, 2014

Wanda Rice was struck and injured by a pickup truck driven by Grant M. Hester, 16, before 6:30 a.m. on October 15.  She was wearing her crossing guard uniform and had parked her bicycle nearby.  At the time of the accident, she was crossing North Socrum Loop Road in the crossway and had the right of way.  Hester claims that he did not see Rice crossing the road.  This is very likely a wrongful death claim.  The survivors of Wanda Lynne Rice should consider an investigation into whether all of the insurance proceeds have been paid and whether the correct amount of insurance has been paid in exchange for a release.  A consultation with a Lakeland car accident lawyer is free.  There are some unique circumstances that can apply to insurance policies depending on the particular language contained in them and the possibility of complex family situations that exist in our society today.
